Got my tumor markers back from last week—I'm at 59, down from 68 last month. Incremental, but not insignificant, improvement. I'm chugging along. If I've done the math correctly, and since it is dealing with percentages I most likely haven't, I'm at about 60% above normal right now. Compared to, and this is probably wrong too, 2,630% above normal when I started. Any mathmagicians (Ian) out there who'd like to correct my math?

If the upper range of normal is 37 (I don't remember), and if you were previously at 1009, then indeed, you were about 2630% above the upper limit of normal, and are now just below 60% of that same limit.

Clearly the neither the cancer nor the treatments have messed up your ability to talent for percents.

I meant to say just below 60%

overthat same limit."Clearly the neither the cancer nor the treatments have messed up your ability to talent for percents"

This is why I asked Ian for MATH help.

no one told me there'd be math

or spelling

My calculator says 2627.03% and 59.45%. (approx.)

i am instantly interested in the math and relieved that there are math and non-math folks confirming posts.

hugs,

Yay! And I hope to see you both soon.
